Located in Concord Ontario, Engineering Technologies is an engineering company which provides manufacturing solutions for large part machining (greater than one meter). We engage ourselves with potential customers to provide them technology based machine tool solutions which provide a quantum leap in productivity. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Phillips Corporation, the world's largest Haas distributor and the manufacturer of the Haeger Press.
For this new position, we seek a highly driven, results-oriented accountant to join our team. The right person in this role will be responsible for full cycle of accounts payable, facilitating the implementation of ERP system, reconciling all cash accounts, prepare multi-state tax returns, assist in completing a thorough and accurate audits, assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, assure all expenses and payments are processed and recorded promptly and accurately, maintain our motor vehicle records, handle all vendor transactions and process payroll for US employees. The ideal person will posses at least 3 years of general accounting experience with a four year degree (or additional experience to substitute for the degree) and is proficient with Excel and Word. CGA/CMA level 3 and/or experience with ERP systems are desired, but not required.
