HF350x140 - Floor Type Horizontal Machining Center with 2-Axis Indexing Head
The Floor Type Horizontal Machining Center is capable of highly productive milling, boring, drilling and tapping of very large parts.
- Heavy duty rotary table on hydrostatic guide ways providing smooth motion and accurate angular positioning and repeatability.
- The bed is a heavy duty cast iron and is supported, leveled and aligned with leveling shoes.
- The bearing surfaces of the machine are monorail type linear rollers providing high accuracy, excellent rigidity and speed.
- Universal 2-axis head is made of stabilized cast iron with two axis positioning with 1 degree increments. Precise positioning is determined by screw-down surfaces of Hirth serration rings.
- Tandem type backlash eliminating mechanism for the rack and pinion drive on X-axis assures high machining accuracy.
- Oversize 100x20 mm ball screw on Y-axis provides sufficient torque for heavy cutting.
