This breakthrough multitasking machine is designed for simultaneous machining with two opposite locating columns, each with two rams.

  • Simultaneous machining with two opposite located columns provides 50 min. cycle time for a 400 mm valve.
  • Each column is equipped with a CNC controlled faceplate and a milling spindle (each built into separate massive 500x600 mm cast iron ram) to assure multitasking machining capability for each gate of the valve at one set up.
  • Two separate rotary tables provide possibility to perform simultaneous 2-side machining on one of them and, at the same time, loading fixture with a part on the other one.
  • All faceplates and milling spindles are equipped with automatic tool change and cutting process monitoring systems.
  • The bearing surfaces of the machine are monorail type linear rollers providing high accuracy, rigidity, and speed.
  • Two totally independent Siemens 840D CNC, electrical, and hydraulic control systems make it possible to run one column when the other is stopped for maintenance.
