This breakthrough multitasking machine is designed for simultaneous machining with two opposite locating columns, with one ram on each.

  • The bed is a heavy duty welded structure filled with polymer cast for better vibration dampening. The bed is supported, leveled, and aligned with leveling shoes. The rack and pinion mechanism is mounted in the middle of bed, provides the saddle motion, and includes pre-loaded double pinion system for backlash free operation. The bed ways are protected by steel telescopic covers.
  • The column saddle is made of stabilized cast iron. The column saddle travel (X-axis) is performed by a servomotor via reducing gearbox.
  • The column is made of stabilized cast iron and attached to its saddle. Y-axis precision preloaded ball screws are installed between the guideways.
  • The headstock is made of stabilized cast iron. It contains ram and spindle assembly, ball screw assembly for ram movement and a two range gear box for high torque/power performance. Tool clamping is performed by the pull stud method utilizing Belleville type spring washers for clamping and hydraulic cylinder for unclamping.
  • Heindehain TNC 530i CNC control is installed on each column of the machine, providing units motion on 3 axes and equipped with a wide range of standard user functions.
